March 16, 2022 - Marcon is proud to announce the sale of the U.S. flag 3,000BHP twin screw tug "Kimberly C." from Curtin Maritime Corp. of Long Beach, CA in February 2022 to private U.S. buyers. Marcon brokered the sale of the tug, formerly the "Paragon", from prior owners to Curtin Maritime in 2018.
March 16, 2022 - Marcon is pleased to announce as the sale of the 132' x 25' fast supply utility vessel "SMS Jol" from Singaporean owners to West African buyers. The 2006-built vessel can carry 49 passengers and up to 130mt of deck cargo at speeds up to 21 knots.
March 9, 2021 - Marcon is pleased to announce as its first sale of 2021, the sale of the 11,400BHP ocean salvage and rescue tug "Hulk" from Star Matrix Hong Kong, Ltd to Japanese Buyers. The tug worked extensively in the U.K. and France prior to being acquired by Star Matrix in 2019 and worked worldwide until her delivery to new Owners in Japan.
February 4, 2021 - The 300' x 100' x 20' U.S. flag ocean deck barge "Signet Atlas" was sold to U.S. West Coast buyers SeaTac Marine Services during the last quarter of 2020. She will be joining SeaTac Marine's Alaska and Pacific Coastwise Trade.
October 22, 2020 - Marcon International Inc's founder, Robert Beegle, retires after 39 years at the helm, passing the business over to long-time employees.
October 7, 2020 - Crowley Marine sold its 7,200HP Invader series tug "Hunter" to private Washingtonian interests. The tug is often referred to as the "fastest tug in the Puget Sound" due to its frequent wins in annual Seattle Maritime Festival tug races.
September 2, 2020 - The 3,000BHP tug "Noelani" was sold on private and confidential terms recently via the brokerage services of Marcon International, Inc. The tug was originally built in 1965 for the U.S. Navy as the "Winnemucca". She served our country well for over 30 years, receiving many citations and awards for meritorious service prior to her conversion to civilian use in 2004.
April 30, 2020 - Though this sale happened in March, we could not announce it until now. With the sale of the 254' x 44' x 16' U.S. flag, platform supply vessel "Elsa Leigh", Marcon broke the 1,500 mark for number of vessel & barges sold or chartered since 1981.
April 27, 2020 - Atlas Ocean Towing, LLC of California has concluded the sale of its tug "Pacific Freedom" to US West Coast Buyers. This is the second time Marcon has been involved with the sale of this tug.
April 17, 2020 - Two 250' x 72' U.S. Flag Inland Barges Sold
March 31, 2020 - Marcon International of Coupeville, Washington brokered the sale of a 400.0' x 99.5' x 25.0' depth', U.S. flag ocean former tank barge to foreign interests.
February 11, 2020 - As the 1,499th sale or charter concluded over the last 39 years, Marcon International of Coupeville, Washington brokered the sale of the U.S. flag, twin screw tug "Nancy M" from Manson Construction Co. of Seattle, Washington.

September 4, 2019 - Marcon is pleased to announce the sale of the 1,700BHP, very well maintained, twin screw tug "Teclusta".
July 30, 2018 - Marcon is pleased to report that sales and charters have surpassed our total 2017 numbers with 25 sales and one 2,780nm long-distance tow fixed so far.
February 22, 2018 - After completion of a long-term contract, Marcon International sold a 28,580mtdw double hull ocean tank barge to private interests in South America.
May 8, 2017 - At 9,000ft2 and 450 ton payload capacity, the "Ghost" is the world's largest hover barge and available exclusively through Marcon.
April 12, 2017 - Marcon sold the 3,800HP U.S. flag, twin screw tug "Altair".
Jan 05, 2017 - Marcon started out the New Year with the sale of the ocean-going, combo deck / tank barge "PCC Provider" on 3rd January to Alaskan buyers.
